Tobias Schimmer is a software engineering practitioner with SAP, Newport Beach, CA 92663 USA, where he is responsible for SAP’s Industry Cloud collaboration model and respective product engineering operations; an adjunct professor at the University of Mannheim; and a visiting researcher with the University of California, Irvine, Irvine, CA, USA. His research interests include multiteam collaboration, empirical software engineering, and data-driven process improvements. Schimmer received his Ph.D. in Improving Traceability in Distributed Collaborative Software Development from the University of Mannheim.
